We under stand the need for competitively priced, high quality products backed by prompt and courteous customer service. Beyond the daily consumables, our custom printed labels and bags are designed to help you distinguish your food products in today’s highly competitive environment – all at a cost you can afford!

Harbro Packaging Company is a full service manufacturer of custom printed labels and a distributor/converter of flexible packaging materials including poly bags, barrier  pouches, printed films and more.

From our beginnings in a small industrial loft on Chicago’s near north side, we have evolved over 30 years into a responsive, multi-faceted organization specializing in the complex packaging needs of food manufacturers, food processors and distributors throughout the Midwest and beyond.

Harbro specializes in water-based, flexographic printing, incorporating state of the art technology including video monitoring, UV coatings, and in-line processing for wholesale and prime label applications. We convert and print on a variety of paper, film, foil and synthetic substrates, offering both spot and four-color process applications. Printing is supported by in-house design and plate making services.

Harbro also distributes a complete line of thermal printers, blank label stock, bar code services and related supplies.

Harbro Packaging remains a privately held, family-owned corporation, now housed in a 30,000 square foot warehouse/manufacturing facility in Chicago. But we haven’t forgotten our roots. We know you have choices and appreciate your business.
